Over the past couple of weeks, I have spend a tremendous amount of time, talking about how to achieve your goals in life.
Today, I am rounding up these posts in a neat summarised version to guide you through the process.
If you feel like me, tired of not achieving your goals. Frustrated to have to rehash the same goal you set for yourself at the end of last year.
Then this post is for you!
I’ve done a full analysis of where I went wrong in 2018. I understand my own limitations and weaknesses.
You know what, I am not making the same mistakes again!
A couple of years ago, I was right on track to achieve my goals in life. I am using this year’s failures, alongside the success principles that had me on track. Along with the life-lessons I’ve learned in this year.
I am going to smash my goals in life, this year and so are you!
Each of the below pictures represents a blog post I have written over the past couple of weeks. Each blog post has a couple of hidden gems in order to help you define your goal properly for the coming year.

The gratitude worksheet allows you to recognise what is going well in your life right now! Cause let’s be honest, even though we haven’t smashed the goal – we still have a whole lot to be grateful for.
If you are anything like me, you’ve probably also done a fair amount of groundwork to enable you to reach for the sky!
While practising gratitude, we need to recognise that some things went well in 2018.
In these areas, we need to keep doing what we’re doing in the new year. Along with the things we want to keep, we know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that there are things we need to ditch. (Discard of, get rid of, dispose of, do away with, chuck away, pull the plug on.)
As you think over the things you should keep and ditch, you will notice a couple of ideas or things you could try come to mind. Jot those down, while you are at it!
All of the above is exactly what the Ditch, Keep & Try worksheet will help you identify. To make it really easy, I have placed each life area in a different column. This allows you to be very specific in each area of life.
The 2019 Goals & Things Worksheet will help you define your goals.
- Why is your goal important to you?
- The exercise allows you to identify three focus areas that will enable you to achieve your objectives.
- Define short- and longterm objectives that will allow you to get started straight away while keeping the big picture in your
The last of the four blog post outlines your vision board. There are many reasons why vision boards fail, I believe, a vision board should reflect your long-term strategy and not some obscure, far-fetched idea.
Envisioning a healthy version of yourself is realistic. Envisioning a fifteen-year-old catwalk model is far-fetched, obscure and surely
Your Vision Board is meant to align your Goals, Priorities and Focus for the next season!
It’s supposed to enhance all of the above elements, in a visually appealing way! Your vision board should allow you to dream and imagine the life you have outlined in your goals & things worksheet.
Define your priorities for the next season.
By defining where you will invest 80% of your time & energy, you will enable yourself to say no, to the things that are not a
The Final Piece of the Puzzle
In last year, I recognised the importance of having a daily-, monthly- and quarterly action plan to enable me to achieve my goals.
Unfortunately, the action plan was completed, filed away – out of sight, out of mind. And I failed miserably at achieving my goals.
This year, I am prepared.
The 2019 Goals Calendar is here to bridge the gap.
The calendar is preemptive in prompting you to write down your action plan.
It also allows you to update your action plan on a quarterly and monthly basis.
All planning elements for goal smashing is included in one space.
Your word for the year; focus areas; quarterly objectives, monthly action plan and weekly tasks. All aligned in one space!
The calendar is designed to go hand in hand with your bullet journal or daily planner. Cause let’s face it – just because you don’t have your wall calendar with you all day, doesn’t mean you can’t evaluate your progress wherever you are!
Best of all, I have a limited number of calendars available and in stock for a price of R65.00 per calendar, excluding shipping.
Comment below, or contact me, via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested in purchasing your very own 2019 goals-calendar.
